Shedding my ego is what I claim to be most focused on. Yet it requires me to let go of certain comforts and ideas I have of myself . It forces me to look out beyond the surface and find my worth elsewhere.
Some days the ego satisfies me
Some days it doesn’t
The point is I want to let go of it’s guilty pleasures and find a deeper place of calm within myself . That’s where the gold lies
“Barefoot or first thing in the morning, I feel beautiful. I didn’t always feel that way, but I feel that way now. When somebody loves you, and when you make somebody else happy, when your presence seems to make them happy, you suddenly feel like the most beautiful person in the world.”—Angelina Jolie (via franconiki)
